July 25, 2007: Reconnected
Well, it looks like we’re back in business with Broadvoice. In fact, it was like we were never down. Even though SunRocket had closed
, the gizmo was still getting calls for days afterward. I signed up with BroadVoice on July 16th, set up forwarding on my SunRocket account that same night and we continued getting calls to our old number as late as this past Monday. I had faxed the number-transfer form to BroadVoice on the 17th and today our transfer was completed so I finally unplugged the gizmo.
It seems we got pretty lucky as other people I know lost service right away. Anyways, if anyone wants a Gizmo, let me know as I might not have any use for ours.
