May 20, 2003: 28 days…
So last night I went online and booked a flight to Paris, heading out on June 18. Coincidentally, today I find an article about how metro stations now feature 802.11b connectivity that is free to the public until June 30. It would be nice to have one of these puppies to correspond with the people back home.
Anyways, my immediate plan is to find four or five areas of the city and break up my stay so I can spend some time at each location. So far I’ve got: Place de la République (so I can make my now-required visit to Favela Chic) and Montmartre. Any other suggestions are greatly welcomed.
Of course, if you will happen to be there around that time, let’s go out for a café au lait.
